About Me

Hello! My name is Sarah Townsend and I’m super grateful that you all have taken the time to read a little bit more about me.

I was born and raised in a Northern suburb of Chicago, so I’m very accustomed to experiencing the four seasons. I also spent my first year of college at a small, Catholic school in Northern Wisconsin, but I decided to leave this institution and transfer to The University of South Florida because I wanted a more urban and diverse school setting. I am currently majoring in elementary education in hopes to pursue a teacher career upon graduation. I have always loved working with younger children because I enjoy watching the rapid physical and cognitive growth that children go through.

My hobbies include running, cooking, and practicing yoga. I also love spending time outdoors with friends and family. This blog is a safe space for me to express my thoughts and ideas about technology, the classroom, and how I can improve my skills to become the best teacher I can be in the future.
